For the 9th week, Iranian Americans are still demonstrating on Saturdays across Washington D.C. in support of protesters in Iran. Protesters marched towards the Department of State on November 19, 2022. Anti government protests in Iran and abroad have started after Amini died in morality police custody in Iran after being detained for allegedly not wearing a headscarf (hijab) “properly” in public.
