Iranian-American protesters who have been demonstrating across Washington D.C. every Saturday for almost 4 months say they won’t give up. They, along with some non Iranians demonstrate against the Islamic Republic Of Iran and in solidarity of the people of Iran following more than 4 months of unrest. At the 16th protest on January 21, 2023 protesters marched from Farragut Square towards the Delegation of the European Union, and then The Ukrainian Embassy to support the Ukrainian people. Morality police is responsible for enforcing Iran’s strict dress code for women, including the wearing of the headscarf in public.
